Active support for relief of the Achilles tendon

In cases of pain or inflammation in the Achilles tendon (e.g. due to excessive strain or after operations), the AchilloTrain active support helps to relieve the Achilles tendon without restricting mobility. An anatomically contoured insert (pad) produces a massage effect, thus stimulating the surrounding tissue. An integral heel cushion relieves the tendon. Edemas and effusions can thus subside more quickly.

PAIN IN THE HEELS

AchilloTrain has a three-fold therapeutic effect: the support alleviates pain and activates the musculature. A pad running along the Achilles tendon distributes the pressure uniformly but does not reduce wearing comfort. The massage effect stimulates the metabolism and helps to reduce edemas. An integral visco-elastic wedge further relieves the Achilles tendon.

ALL-ROUND GOOD TO YOUR FOOT

Thanks to the especially stretchy, three-dimensional anatomical knit, AchilloTrain sits optimally even in the instep. The breathable material prevents the accumulation of moisture. The integral heel wedge is removable and a separate heel cushion is provided for the unaffec-ted leg to offset the length difference. AchilloTrain reduces the risk of another ankle joint in-jury.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

All Train active supports can be machine washed separately at 30°C with liquid detergent. Please note the following:

  1. For products with Velcro straps: remove the straps if possible, or fasten them securely in position.
  2. If possible, also remove pads/inserts and their terrycloth covers before washing.

We recommend using a mesh bag (spin cycle: maximum of 500 revolutions per minute). Air dry your Train active support. Do not dry it in a tumble-dryer because this can damage the knit.

Please wash your Train active support regularly so that the compression qualities of the knit are retained.
